(Westminster: William Caxton, 1482). Single folio leaf from Caxton's Polychronicon (from Liber Septimus, leaf CCCXXXVI). Verso printed with 37 lines, recto with 40 lines, plus headlines; capital strokes and added manuscript in red ink; early ink marginalia recto and verso. Bound in full early 20th century brown morocco, ruled and decorated in blind, two printed paper cover labels; dampstaining to original leaf, wear and small loss in top corner, creasing along fore-edge; printed essay "William Caxton and the 1482 Polychronicon" (Robert Stockwell Ltd) tipped in at rear.
